About You:

  • You have managed payroll and benefits for small businesses.
  • You do a happy dance when all timesheets are submitted before the deadline.
  • You have experience with multiple payroll, benefits and HRIS platforms - especially with ADP Run.
  • You have completed - and enjoyed! - payroll platform transitions or implementations.
  • You have some general HR knowledge.
  • You enjoy the challenge of working with multiple clients, learning their businesses and helping them succeed.
  • You are computer & systems savvy and love learning new technologies.

More About the Opportunity:

  • We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to manage the payroll administration needs of our clients.
  • The position will start part time (about 20 hours per week) and grow to full time as new clients are added.
  • You will support multiple clients (and their employees) on varying payroll frequencies - weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly.  
  • Our clients are mostly businesses with $1-$10 million in annual revenue, with employee head counts from 1 to 250.
  • Depending on your skill level, you'll manage day to day payroll administration, respond to employee issues, serve as a subject matter expert on payroll topics, and assist with implementing new clients to SmartBooks.
  • You will be able to work from home most days.
